This website is operated by VAVRO LEGAL, s. r. o., with its registered office at Vysoká 5219/14, 811 06 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, e-mail contact info(at)ak-vavro.com (the "Controller") who is also the administrator of personal data of visitors to this website and persons communicating with the Controller through e-mails (individually the "Data Subject").

Personal data a Data Subject discloses to the Controller through the contact form located on this website or through e-mail communication with the Controller, including (without limitation) name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address and information concerning affiliation with a particular individual or legal person (such as information on the person's job position or membership in a corporate body) will be processed in agreement with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) for the purpose of responding to the query posted by the Data Subject and/or to reply to the Data Subject's message and/or to establish pre-contract relationship leading to potential execution of an agreement for legal services. If an agreement for legal services is concluded, the above and also other personal data voluntarily provided by Data Subjects are subjected to further processing for the purpose of due and proper delivery of the agreed legal services.

Thus, the legal basis of the processing of the above personal data is the Controller's legitimate interest. This may correspond to responding to a query, replying to a message received from a Data Subject, or establishment of the above-mentioned pre-contract relationships and subsequent conclusion of an agreement with the Controller that could not have been entered into and performed if the Data Subject's personal data had not been provided.

Personal data will be processed while the communication between the Controller and Data Subject is ongoing, or until an agreement between the Controller and Data Subject is concluded, or while the Controller's statutory obligations need to be performed. In other words, for a period of at least 10 years in order to observe certain mandatory time limits prescribed for erasing the personal data and archiving accounting documents relating to the performance of the agreement concluded between the Controller and Data Subject.

Processing of Data Subjects' personal data may be entrusted to a mandated processor (such as a cooperating Advocate), who will, or may secure sub-contracted services for the Controller. These may be associated with the performance of an agreement between the Controller and Data Subject, web-hosting services, administration of this website, maintenance of CRM systems or maintenance of the Controller's accounting.

No automated decision-making nor profiling will occur in the course of processing of Data Subjects' persona data. Also, the Controller does not intend to transfer the personal data to third countries, international organizations or third persons other than the above processor(s).

Among other things, Data Subjects have the right to request the Controller to provide access to their personal data, the right to correct or erase the personal data, the right to restrict their processing, and the right to transfer, the right to object against the processing, and the right to file a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Authority.
